Pachamama and her teachings

What I’m here to write about, is my own experience of the deepest and purest connection with Mother Nature, also referred as Pachamama in the ancient Aymara and Quechua languages. Pacha → World - Mama → Mother.

My journey with her deep wisdom that day has started with meditation, connecting into my inner self, and one of my favourite ways to go into a blissful state is chanting mantras.

I’ve never considered myself a truly gifted singer, but still when I experienced for the first time the power of devotional chanting, it was love at first sight.

The powerful mantra that I was chanting in my meditation, with my mala tiger eyes, moving from one bead to the another for all the 108 rounds, because this is how you chant specific mantras.

This specific one is very profound. I was repeating it to help me to disconnect from the chattering of the mind and find my place of peaceful stillness. It was dedicated to Lord Shiva, Maha Mrityunjaya mantra, which is known to help restore the health and happiness of the person reciting it, and also brings a true state of calmness in the face of humanity’s ultimate battle: the Great Death Conquering mantra.

“ Om tryambakam yajamahe

Sugandhim pustivardhanam

Urvarukamiva bandhanan

Mrityormuksiya mamrtat ”

So let’s speak about the after death, do you believe in reincarnation?

Well, I do. And if I’ve to be honest, not since always, in my early twenties I wasn't believing in anything I could see and touch, because I’ve lost the faith in God when my nonno was sick, fighting his last battle in his human body, a battle that was very hard and full of suffering for him and us, the family.

But I started to believe in reincarnation after reading a book, suggested by Alexia, a dear friend of mine, “Many Lives, Many Masters - by Brian L. Weiss, M.D.” wow, this was a game changer for me and the fact that I even questioned once what I was reading, like everything was making perfectly sense and there couldn't be anything different after that our bodies would take their last breath.

Anyway, going back to the Maha Mrityunjaya mantra, which teaches humanity the reason why we should stop fearing death, and instead seeing it as a new beginning, a doorway into the next journey of the soul.

Definitely I was into a soul journey, not a normal 5 minute meditation kind of thing, and this is when, from the depth of my soul I’ve heard a call to go further inward to a deeper level of connection with the self.

“I am God/The Source of all things”, or speaking in a mantra way:

Aham Brahmasmi.

Such a huge conversation with the felt sense of God within me, connecting deeper with the concept of non-dualism, meanwhile the mantra was reciting at the centre of my head, where Ada and Pingal meet, also called the third eye energy centre.

I was there letting the deepest part of my subconscious help my brain to absorb the thought that “you”, as every other creation of nature, is nothing but a part of a more vast and complex organism. That we are all connected with The Source of all things/God therefore we all are God.

Pretty deep for someone that like 13 years ago wasn't even believing in God anymore, for sure there was still a part of me that couldn't really grasp all of this fully, but because I was surrendering into the unknown and trusting the process, I could fully let those concepts go within me without any resistances.

Coming back to the begin, I’ve started my meditation with a mantra for get free from the fear of death and moved to a mantra used to let go any thoughts of being here stuck into this human form and yet connecting widely with Mother Earth, the Universe and all the creatures around to a very deep level of presence and awareness. A mantra to let the ego dissolve and allow the soul to fully experience the whole in and all around us, as we are part of one another, where there is no separation, no ending, no beginning, just a continuous flowing movement into the spiral of the infinite.

At that point the ego was calm, there were no wandering thoughts around me and my meditation practice was silent. There in the peacefulness of the darkness a deep need to move my body through a particular yoga flow, came to life. A clearing spiral movement of the spine, like a dance of a snake, allows my physical body to dive into a deeper state of presence, to break any physical boundaries and allow the internal energy to flow through all the energy centres and break out, like conscious rays of light.

The exploration of senses, energies and the body pushed me out to explore the world, the sun was already up, vivid colours of golden/white light were all around me. The tree people were dancing with the rhythm of brother wind, which he was carrying sage wisdom from a different time-space reality. The flowers were joyfully smiling and emanated a sweet nectar of pure honey. Planet Earth and Nature were connecting directly with the soul as they have never done before.

From my mind’s perspective it was like if everything was dancing with the most celestial music of love, my ego wasn’t asking any question and the soul had the noisiest of the noises, the total presence of silence. Nature was speaking my same language of sacred geometric symbols and precise patterns. Everything was in the right place, in perfect harmonious balance.

I was standing in front of a majestic tree, so many vibrational wisdoms were emanating from its aura. As soon my hand touched it, the feeling of Unconditional Love and Inner Peace expanded my entire physical body and reached the Heart centre.

The walk around the park continued and this is where I felt that the second tree had a different vibrational energy field. There were some dark vibrations of fear and suffering. This tree taught to the soul that humanity is causing fear and suffering to one another and to Mother Earth. This is something that should stop soon.

The third tree whispered to the soul about an imminent change, whic it was coming into this plane of reality and would affect everyone without any discrimination, because everyone is the same to the Universal Law and to The Source, humanity should understand this and few they would.

A white feather on the ground appeared showing how freedom from fear of change is possible, if we surrender to the feeling of being part of the whole. Understanding how the Universe and Pachamama are constantly changing without stopping. That there is no need to bring awareness to the feeling of fear, and it’s easy to let everything flow as it is, remembering that everything is working out in the best case scenario.

Freedom from fears and suffering, that there is no dead, the soul lives forever.

“ Remember that energy can neither be created nor destroyed,

but just transferred or changed to another form of existence. ”

- revisited cit. by Albert Einstein

A greater freedom from lack of love and inner peace, as the soul is pure light made of unconditional love and pure consciousness, and love is inside all things. When love is found, a sense of peace just comes to light and it spreads into all the atoms, the cells, the energies centres, the soul and all the bodies, moving up to infinity.

At this stage the teachings to the physical human being are complete, but the last important one is to remember very clearly to never allow the ego to stand above the soul. The Spirit of the Forest knows that this could be possible at any time, because also the most awakened human being is still just a human, and could be weak at some point during this game, called life.

The perfect balance in the coexistence between soul and ego, are an essential part in humanity’s journey of healing, growth and awakening.

This harmonious balance of Mother Nature is key to life.
